Elysian Press publishes essay collections and print pamphlets exploring a utopian future. Our patrons make that work possible by supporting projects, writing the forewords for them, and hosting our events.

I'm looking for someone to help find more patrons. You'd bring patrons to our pamphlets and books, and to our events including: launch parties, dinner parties and the Elysian conference. We'd work out together who to approach and how.

• You've sold advertising or sponsorships before
• You enjoy the ideas we write about

BaseThe 1st of each month	$1,000 a month
CommissionBy the 15th of the month after the money arrives	20% of patron money

• From your second year, commission rises to 25% on everything you bring in above $60,000 in a year.
• Commission is paid as patrons pay. If a patron pays in two parts, so do we.
• If we ever part ways, you're still paid on patrons you signed whose money arrives within 90 days.
• It's an independent contract: you invoice monthly and keep your own hours.

The first three months are a trial, and a chance for us both to see how it goes. We'll talk every week. Patrons can take a while to say yes, so the first month is mostly about getting started.

By the end of the three months, I'd hope we've signed about $7,500 in patronage together. If it's working, we'll make it a long-term contract.

Either of us can step away with 30 days' notice, and any commission you've earned is always paid.
